Chain Reaction is a free online arcade game where you get one click per round. That click sets off a single explosion. Every glowing orb it touches explodes a moment later and sets off the orbs around it, so one well-placed spark can turn into a screen-filling chain. Pop enough orbs to reach each level's goal, build the longest chain you can and climb the global leaderboard. It runs in any web browser on desktop and mobile, with no download and no account.

Chain Reaction is a one-button mini game built around a single satisfying moment. You click once, and then the explosions take over.
The arena is full of neon orbs drifting slowly in clusters, lines and lone groups. You don't control a character and you don't aim a cannon. You choose one spot and one moment. If you pick well, the blast catches a few orbs, those catch a few more, and within two or three seconds the entire board is going off like fireworks: Click → Boom → Chain → Combo → Score → Try again.
A round takes about five seconds. Restarting is instant, and every board is new. That is why "just one more try" turns into twenty.

Special orbs arrive as you progress: x2 orbs from level 2, mega orbs from level 3 and bombs from level 4.
Chain Reaction rewards building one huge chain over popping a few orbs:
Level 1 has 18 orbs and a goal of 4, so every new player sees a chain in the first few seconds. Each level adds 3 orbs and raises the goal. Clusters also spread further apart, the orbs drift faster and more special orbs appear. From level 15 the board is full: 60 orbs, and you need 42 of them.
Every board is generated fresh. Before you see it, the game checks that the goal can actually be reached, so a failed round is always a missed chance and never an impossible board.
The Daily Challenge gives every player in the world exactly the same boards, reset every day at 00:00 UTC. With the same boards and the same odds for everyone, the daily leaderboard shows who found the best first click. Play it once for fun or fifty times to perfect your route.

You get one click or tap per round. Your click sets off an explosion, and every orb it touches explodes too and sets off the orbs around it. Pop the number of orbs shown as the level goal to advance. If you miss the goal you lose one of your 3 hearts.
A normal orb is worth 100 points, a gold orb 500, a mega orb 1,000 and a bomb orb 200. Each link in the chain raises the chain multiplier by 0.1, up to x5. x2 orbs double every point that follows in the same chain, up to x8. Reaching CHAIN x5, x10, x20, x30 and x50 pays extra bonuses.
A Perfect Start happens when your first explosion hits 5 or more orbs directly. It is worth +500 points. Aiming at the densest cluster is the key skill in Chain Reaction.
A Perfect Chain means you popped every orb on the board in one round. It pays 2,000 + 500 × the level number and gives back one lost heart, up to the maximum of 3.
Every day at 00:00 UTC a new Daily Challenge starts. Every player gets exactly the same orb formations, so the daily leaderboard is a fair head-to-head competition.
Yes. The game is built for touch screens and runs in any modern mobile browser. Tap to detonate, or press and hold to see your blast ring and release to fire. You can also add it to your home screen.
No. After a run, type a nickname of 3 to 16 characters and submit your score. Only the nickname, the score and basic run stats are stored. Every run is checked by the server before it appears on the board.
