Stack Escape is a free browser arcade game from Game CMB where every second counts. You control a small neon-lit robot racing up a tower of platforms that is quite literally falling apart beneath your feet — the ground below ignites and starts rising a few seconds after you begin, and it never stops chasing you. There's no pausing to plan your next move and no platform safe enough to camp on. Just open the page and start climbing — no download, no install, no account needed.
Most platform games let you take your time. Stack Escape doesn't. A rising wall of collapsing floor follows you up the tower, forcing constant upward motion — every jump has to count, and hesitating for even a couple of seconds ends the run. It's a simple pressure that turns a spare minute into an intense "just one more run" loop, and it's the reason the game tends to get more addictive the longer you play it.
Move left and right, time your jumps to land on platforms, and keep climbing. The floor below you continuously collapses, so standing still is never safe. Land dead-center on a platform for a Perfect Landing bonus, and dodge hazards closely for a Near Miss bonus — chain them together to build your combo multiplier.
Desktop: A/D or Arrow Keys to move, Space or W/Up to jump. Mobile: tap the left/right zones to move, tap the jump button (or swipe up) to jump, or enable Auto Jump in Settings for one-finger play.
Height alone isn't the whole story — how you climb matters just as much. Land dead-center on a platform for a Perfect Landing bonus, or nail the timing for an even rarer Super Perfect. Squeeze past a saw blade or a laser with a Near Miss and you'll pocket extra points too. Chain these together without missing and your combo multiplier climbs from x1 all the way to x10, turning a good run into a genuinely huge score.
The tower keeps introducing new things to react to as you climb higher. Normal platforms are safe, but breakable ones crumble after you land, moving platforms slide side to side, falling platforms drop the instant you touch them, ice platforms send you sliding, and fake platforms aren't really platforms at all. Add spikes, spinning saws, lasers, falling rocks, and rotating blades into the mix, and every hundred meters feels like a fresh challenge. Grab a Shield, Slow-Mo, Magnet, or Double Score power-up along the way to swing momentum back in your favor.
Every run is measured against every other player. Submit your score after a run and see your name — and your rank — appear on Stack Escape's live global leaderboard instantly. Beating your own personal best is satisfying; knocking someone else off the top 10 is even better.
New players usually lose their run to the same three things: standing still too long, jumping too early off a platform that's about to break, and panicking near hazards instead of timing a clean Near Miss. Keep moving, pay attention to what each platform looks like before you land, and save a power-up for when you actually need it — a Shield held in reserve for a bad landing is worth a lot more than one used the instant you pick it up.
Stack Escape runs entirely in your browser — no installs, no plugins, no app store. It works just as well on a phone during a quick break as it does on a desktop browser at home, with touch controls (including swipe-to-jump) built in for mobile and full keyboard support on desktop.
