Word Chain is a fast, casual word game: type a word that starts with the last letter of the previous word before your timer runs out. Chain as many words together as you can — APPLE leads to EAGLE, EAGLE leads to ELEPHANT, and so on. You can't reuse a word twice in the same run, and the timer gets shorter the longer your chain grows, so the pressure builds fast.
Every correct word in a row raises your combo multiplier, up to x5. A mistake doesn't end your run — an already-used word just halves your combo instead of wiping it out, so you can keep pushing for a new record.
Land 10 correct words in a row and Fever Mode kicks in, doubling your score for the next 3 words. Stacking Fever with a high combo multiplier is where the biggest scores come from.
Answering in under a second earns a Speed Bonus, and under half a second earns a Lightning bonus — reflexes matter as much as vocabulary.
Words ending in Q, X, Z, or J are trickier to continue — picking a common word instead when you have a choice keeps your chain easier to extend.
