How to Play Word Stack
- Press Play and look at the letters available to you.
- Tap letters (or type on a keyboard) to spell any valid English word of 3 or more letters.
- Submit the word. Valid words add a block to your tower, increase your score, and extend your combo and your time.
- Invalid words weaken your tower's stability. Run out of stability, or run out of time, and the tower collapses — game over.
- Enter a nickname to submit your score to the global leaderboard and try to beat your best.
Tips to Get a Higher Score
Longer words are worth far more than short ones, so it pays to look for a 6, 7, or 8-letter word even under time pressure. Keep your combo alive: consecutive valid words raise your score multiplier up to x5, and hitting combo milestones grants bonus time. Watch for glowing Gold, Time, and Fire letters in the pool — working one into your word doubles your score, adds extra seconds, or supercharges your combo. If a pool looks like a dead end, use New Letters rather than guessing and risking your tower's stability.
