How to Play Home Run
Home Run is built around one simple, satisfying skill: timing. A pitcher throws the ball toward home plate, and your only job is to swing at exactly the right instant. On desktop, press SPACE or click anywhere on the field. On mobile, just tap the screen. There's no joystick, no aiming reticle — pure reaction and rhythm.
Watch the timing bar beneath the batter. As the pitch arrives, a marker slides across zones from MISS through GOOD, GREAT, and into the golden PERFECT band at the center. Land your swing inside that center band — especially the tiny Sweet Spot right in the middle — and the ball rockets off the bat.

Scoring & Combos
Every hit earns points from its timing tier plus a distance bonus for how far the ball travels. Clear the outfield fence and you get a flat Home Run bonus on top. String hits together without missing to build your combo multiplier — up to x5 — which multiplies everything you earn while it lasts. A single miss resets your combo back to x1, so consistency pays far more than one lucky swing.
Tips to Climb the Leaderboard
- Watch the bar, not just the ball. Curveballs and Sliders bend and hesitate visually, but the timing bar always tells the truth about when to swing.
- Protect your combo. A Weak or Good hit that keeps your streak alive is often worth more long-term than risking a swing you're not sure about.
- Save your focus for Perfect Streaks. Three PERFECT hits in a row unlocks Fire Bat — the bonus points add up fast.
- Don't panic after a strike. A well-timed PERFECT hit can trigger Strike Break and forgive it.
- Changeups are deceptive by design. They look like they're arriving early — trust the bar and wait.
