How to Play Card Bomb
Card Bomb is a fast, addictive risk-and-reward card game: draw cards one at a time to build your score, then decide whether to bank your points for safety or risk one more draw for a bigger score. Every card you draw pushes your luck a little further — and one of them is a Bomb.
- Draw Card reveals the next card and applies its effect instantly.
- Bank Score locks your current round's points into your permanent total and starts a fresh round with the risk meter partly reset.
- Cash Out & Finish ends your run right now and saves whatever you've banked — no need to wait for a Bomb.
- A Bomb card ends your run instantly and wipes any points you haven't banked yet, unless you're holding a Shield.
Card Types
- ⭐ Points — a straight score boost.
- ✨ Bonus — a bigger score boost.
- 🔥 Hot — a big score boost, but the risk meter jumps sharply.
- ✖️ Multiplier — multiplies every point you earn afterward this round.
- 🛡️ Shield — defuses the next Bomb you draw.
- ✅ Safe — lowers the risk meter.
- ❓ Mystery — a random effect: could be a small bonus, a jackpot, a risk reduction, or a free shield.
- 💣 Bomb — game over, unless a Shield is active.
Scoring & Streaks
Survive 3, 5, or 10 cards in a row without hitting a Bomb to earn a Safe Streak, Hot Streak, or Insane Streak bonus on top of your regular points. New players typically land somewhere between 500 and 2,000 points on a good run; skilled players who bank at the right moments regularly clear 5,000, and the very best runs push past 20,000.
Tips
- The risk meter only shows a rough danger level (LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH/CRITICAL) on purpose — you'll never know exactly how close the next Bomb is.
- Banking resets your multiplier, so it's often worth pushing a hot streak with a high multiplier a little further before you lock it in.
- A Shield is worth protecting — if you already have one, a second Shield card converts into bonus points instead of going to waste.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play Card Bomb?
Draw cards one at a time to build up your current score. Most cards add points, but a Bomb card ends your run and wipes any points you haven't banked yet. Tap Bank Score at any time to lock your current points into your permanent total before drawing again.
What does the risk meter mean?
It shows how likely the next card is to be a Bomb. It rises as you keep drawing and falls when you bank or draw a Safe card.
What does the Shield card do?
It protects you from exactly one Bomb. If you draw a Bomb while shielded, it's defused instead of ending your run — the shield is then used up.
Can I stop and save my score whenever I want?
Yes — once you've banked at least one round, Cash Out & Finish lets you end the run and save your score immediately.
Is Card Bomb free to play?
Yes, completely free, right in your browser, with no download or account required.
